Another winter is in the books, and it’s beginning to look like spring is in the cards for us, after all! That also means it’s time to turn your attention to the upcoming season for everyone’s favourite summer concert band!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our intrepid librarian has advised me that there are still some binders that have not been returned from last summer. He will be revising the binder this month in preparation for the new season. If you still have a Millennium binder in your possession, please contact info@mbmillenniumband.com<\/a> to make arrangements to return it as soon as possible.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

Without further ado, here’s how our summer looks to be shaping up (please stay tuned for additional information):<\/span><\/div>\n

Rehearsal Dates:<\/span><\/i><\/h2>\n

May 18 \u2013\u00a0\u00a0Saturday \u2013 10 am – 12 pm<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Legion Branch #252 – 426 Osborne St (upstairs) –<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>if possible, please try to arrive a wee bit early so that we can get music assigned and begin the fun as close to 10:00 as possible!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

May 25 \u2013\u00a0Saturday \u2013\u00a0<\/span>10 am – 12 pm<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 Legion Branch #252 – 426 Osborne St (upstairs)<\/span><\/p>\n

The following rehearsal dates are all Wednesdays, and will take place at Bourkevale Community Centre \u2013 100 Ferry Rd \u2013 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.<\/span><\/p>\n

The following times are performance times for advance planning purposes. (Call time is usually 30 minutes earlier). Additional details (including more gigs, which will replace some of the August rehearsals) will be supplied as they are available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Wednesday, July 24 \u2013 7 pm \u2013 Lindenwoods\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday,<\/strong> August 17 \u2013 2 pm \u2013 Victoria Beach – TENTATIVE<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Sunday<\/strong>, September 8 \u2013 Afternoon (Time TBA) \u2013 Bourkevale Community Centre Hoe Down<\/p>\n

Membership Dues for the summer are $20\/person.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I was very happy with the use of our May rehearsals last year, so I will be using our time the same way again this year. That is to say, we’ll be focusing on our more complex music exclusively.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
