Once again, folks, your dedication and hard work is paying dividends! This week’s rehearsal was unbelievable! I’m so thrilled that we’ve managed to have both Broadway Journey and Arctic Fire performance-ready! (I had complete faith in you – I just thought we might need some more time before debuting them). This is an accomplishment not to be undervalued, so please take a moment or two to pat yourselves on the back!<\/p>\n
Our next rehearsal is a dress rehearsal (you don’t have to come in uniform – but it is our final rehearsal before our first gig this year so rehearsal format is a little different) – we’ll begin with the usual scales and a sight-reading piece to warm-up. The first half of our rehearsal will be a dry run of the concert programme (below). In the second half, we’ll work on tweaking anything that needs it, and we may (if time permits) do some prep work for Victoria Beach.<\/p>\n
