Another incredible effort this week from everyone! It’s fantastic to see so many people out week after week, and even more wondrous to hear the improvements in everyone’s playing!<\/p>\n
I know we spent a lot of time on Broadway Journey – I still have hopes that we’ll be able to play it at our first performance. To that end, here’s a listening link<\/a> to give you a bit of a feel for how it sounds.<\/p>\n We have two more rehearsals<\/strong> until our first performance! I’ve reviewed what we’ve played so far this season, and I’m confident that you are all ready for this. I have not yet determined whether we can risk putting in Broadway Journey – our next rehearsal will confirm that. The good news is that we have about\u00a0 a concert and a half’s worth of repertoire that we’re ready to perform, so slashing Broadway (in order to give us a bit more time with it) won’t leave us high and dry.<\/p>\n Here’s the list from which I’ll draw upon for our rehearsal this week (titles in parentheses are alternates).
